Het is ongeveer een jaar geleden dat ik nog iets gepost heb. Maar niet omdat ik stilgezeten heb… Ik heb mijn huurhuis ingeruild voor een eigen huis met een serieuze lap grond, een smalle strook van 1000m² grenzen aan een bos. De vorige bewoners waren naar verluid ook fervente tuiniers en duivenmelkers. De bewijzen vond ik overal verspreid door de hof en koterijen. De ruïnes van een enorme serre en 3 duivenkoten – nu gigantische insectenhotels – gebruikte ik dankbaar als basis om op verder te bouwen.
Tijdens de verbouwingen kon de focus echter niet volledig liggen bij de tuin. De wildernis dook al snel op en verstomde me dagelijks met zijn pracht! Wilde planten – veel al gekend van mijn tripjes in de natuur, maar des te mooier omdat ze in ‘MIJN’ tuin wilden groeien -, 2 koppels buizerds die nestelden in de buurt, een uil die elke avond zijn lokroep over de tuin schalde,… Mijn verwondering kon niet op!
Elke dag maak ik ‘s ochtends een wandeling door de tuin met mijn beestjes en elke dag voelt het alsof er een klein mirakeltje in ontwikkeling is in mijn tuin. Het werkt inspirerend en heeft mijn Vuur voor Natuur weer aangewakkerd!
